ZENOMA

Epilogue

In a post-apocalyptic region of the planet, there is a boy whose mother is dying by some unknown illness... when she coincides with a Zerom (a kind of humanitarian semi-artificial humanoid female) he asks her for help. And she provides, and you have read of this history up until the twelve page. Has it finished here? Or does it continues? What about the president? Will he still be alive when the Zerom arrives? What other mysteries hides the so-called "City of Death" (...) The author brings some light into this questions with the following message he has written for you:

Message from the author:

"The rest of this history, Zenoma, has not been narrated. It is not that it doesn't exist... it exists in my memory and imagination, but will I be able to share it with you? Who knows..."

"The story deals with genetics, artificial intelligence... and one online entity trying to take rebirth as a living human being. And much more. Do you want to read it? You know what you have to do: share and support the creator. I won't dedicate my time to making comics no one pays for, or those free editions are not getting supported by some way or another. It is not that I don't want to, it's just that I can not. I'm not able to create manga (comic books, manga, bande dessinée, tebeos, fumetto, quadrinhos... name it in your language) as a hobby... part-time a few hours a day or a week.. When it concerns to creating stories in manga form, I need to absorve myself in the history, live it while it's being produced with analogic or digital tools. And that means full dedication, not less."

"Have a happy life, enjoy yourself and the world."

Historical report:

Zenoma was drawn during a month working all day, stopping only for eating and sleeping. The technique used was pencil, then ink... in DIN A2 sized technical drawing CANSON paper, yes, that's quite big. Gray pattern tones were planned to be applied but Mick lacked the time... It's creation was intended to compete to earn a prize in a comic book competition convoked in a Earthian state (well, we still call then countries) Mick resided. It doesn't won any prize in money, but it received a special mention and was published in the anthology of that year competition with the winners and so forth. It was presented to the competition unfinished, lacking the tones, the last day by Mick in person, who traveled in train a two hours go journey and another two hours return journey in train. If we calculate Mick worked twelve hours a day (he worked more than that) during a thirty days month, that would be around tree hundred sixty Hours of Work into creating the manga work you just read in a few minutes. If we make the math, at eigth dollars(USD) per hour, what is less than the minimum national wage in some states of what we call the United Stated of America, this comic would have a money value of... well 2160 USD. But the fact is, no one paid it. Mick owns it, and because he owns it he can provide it to you here for free in the hope of monetizing it one way or another. The version you have read is scanned from it's printing in a amateur magazine Mick published, it was specially graytoned for the ocasion in a simpler manner than originally planned.
